Legacy Project
We want our scholars to be working with their assigned mentor and Team Jojo on a project to build their own legacy. Projects may include topics related to your major, career aspirations, a research project, or a need in your community that you are most passionate about solving. We encourage you to work with an organization, club, church, school, business in your local area that serve the needs of your COFA community on existing projects or to innovate with new projects. Feel free to contact the Scholarship Director, Dr. Vid Raatior (vidraatior@gmail.com) or any of the Founders in your local area to discuss ideas.

MAJURO: Volunteer with the Education USA conferences in Majuro to empower and inspire the youth to consider attending college in the US to improve their lives. >more

OREGON: Work with the COFA Alliance National Network (CANN) organization or others that lead political advocacy efforts for the COFA community in the US. >more

LOCAL: Plan a workshop to solve a specific need in your community or school. You can facilitate it yourself or invite speakers from Pacific Leadership Assistance Network (PLAN). >more.
